Read guide ↗SnipPop is a screenshot companion for Mac. After a system screenshot is saved, its preview stays at the edge of your desktop. You can pin, crop, annotate, pixelate, compress, extract text, or drag it into another app.
Unpinned previews dismiss after five idle minutes, with up to fourteen at once. Hovering, editing, or dragging pauses the timer. Pinned previews do not auto-dismiss. Dismissing a bubble does not delete the original file.

The current build requires an Apple silicon Mac running macOS 13 or later. The app supports English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. It can follow your system language, or you can choose a language in Settings.
No. The planned full-feature trial lasts 7 days. You then choose whether to buy once for US$9.99. There is no subscription or automatic renewal. Website purchases are not open yet.
Image editing, compression, and text recognition happen locally on your Mac. SnipPop does not provide screenshot cloud sync. Files you choose to share with other apps are handled by those apps.
SnipPop receives videos saved by the macOS screen recorder, so you can play them, reveal the file, or drag them out. Recording is handled by macOS; SnipPop does not include video editing.
One license covers 2 Macs you own. Deactivate an old device before activating a replacement. Use Manage license in the footer if you no longer have the old Mac.
No. Activation and deactivation require internet access. A saved valid license works offline. A network outage does not remove access; remote deactivation or refunds are applied when the Mac next successfully contacts the service.
Launch SnipPop and check the screenshot source and access prompts in Settings. Use the macOS screenshot shortcuts and save to a folder; clipboard-only captures are not received automatically. See the guide for the full steps.
Quit SnipPop from its menu to stop receiving captures. Hiding bubbles is not the same as quitting. To use the system preview, quit and check Show Floating Thumbnail in the ⇧⌘5 Options menu. Screenshots already saved on disk are unaffected.
