SCREENSHOT GUIDES
How do you pixelate a Mac screenshot?
Open the editor, cover the details you do not want to show, then save or share.
Open the image in the editor
After taking a screenshot, click the edit button on its bubble to open the image editor. You can also drag an existing image into SnipPop.
Choose the pixelation tool and brush over the area
Select the pixelation tool in the toolbar and choose a fine, medium, or coarse brush for the area. Brush over the content, then zoom in to check edges and missed details before saving, copying, or dragging into another app.
Check the exported image before sharing
Pixelation may leave shapes or context recognizable; it is not a guarantee that sensitive information has been removed. For passwords or identity numbers, crop out the relevant area and check the final exported image.
